Porsche P-plater was 'speeding at 180km, drunk' in Sydney: police
A P-plate driver has had his licence immediately confiscated after he was accused of speeding in a Porsche at 180km/h in south-west Sydney.
The 32-year-old was pulled over by officers patrolling Camden Valley Way in Leppington about 2.20am on Saturday.
Police estimated the Cayenne had been travelling between 180km/h and 190km/h in an 80km/h zone.
The driver allegedly returned a positive blood-alcohol reading of .075 when tested.
He was charged with speeding offences, using an unregistered vehicle, not displaying P-plates and low-range drink driving.
The man was issued with a notice to attend Campbelltown Local Court on July 9.
