BHOPAL : Union minister Narendra Singh Tomarm, in a meeting of BJP legislature party (BLP) in Bhopal on Saturday, said that the MLAs were not clapping when CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan was recounting the achievements of the by the government. Tomar said if MLAs could put up their point amongst public in a better way only if they are excited enough.
He said CM has prepared them for elections better than the parents prepare their child for examination. He said now the MLAs have to write their examination and they need to put up their point properly for success.
He asked the MLAs to maintain communication with the people to learn what other works government could do. Chouhan said Congress was trying to misguide farmers on the issue of loan waiver and we need to expose the reality of loan waiver done by Congress in Punjab.
He said that the loan waiver in Punjab had so many conditions that farmers could not get benefit from it. He said that the farmers have a total loan of Rs 60 crore worth in Punjab but the amount of loan waived off in Punjab was lesser than the amount given to the farmers in the state under ‘Mukhyamantri Samridhhi Yojana’.
CM said, “My leaders and I were making tours in 47 degrees temperature while Kamal Nath and Jyotiraditya Scindia were busy in visiting foreign countries and staging drama of raising voice for the farmers’ welfare.”
He said, “We have to fight election and win it. He said we have store of achievements of our government as a weapon in the war.”
BJP organizational general secretary Suhas Bhagat urged the MLAs to remain active on social media, as it would play the most important role in the elections this time.
