HYDERABAD: WE-Hub, an exclusive business incubator for women entrepreneurs started by Telangana government has joined the UN India-NITI Aayog Investor Consortium for Women Entrepreneurs as a Mentor and Investor Member. The Memorandum of Understanding between United Nations India and NITI Aayog was signed as part of the UNIBF 2018 meeting being held in Bangalore from June 7-8. 

Objectives of this alliance include, committing to promoting and enhancing opportunities for women entrepreneurs to succeed by creating an enabling ecosystem, facilitate mentoring of women entrepreneurs to grow and scale up businesses through right skills, connecting women entrepreneurs to have access to finance through Investor Consortium knowledge through individual meetings, roundtable  meeting, listening to investment pitches by women entrepreneurs who meet potential investor’s  criteria and participating in quarterly/ bi-annual meetings to review consortium activities. The UN India-NITI  Aayog Investor Consortium for Women Entrepreneurs has been set up by the UN and Government of India for providing a platform for key ecosystem stakeholders to collaborate with women entrepreneurs.
