Indore: Registrations for admission in undergraduate courses end today


Indore: Students wishing to pursue traditional undergraduate courses from colleges in the state but have not registered for first round of online admission counselling should act as June 9 is the last date to register for admission in UG courses at colleges.

“Registration window for the first round of counselling for UG courses will close on Saturday,” said Indore division additional director (higher education) KN Chaturvedi. However, the registration window for admission in post-graduate courses will remain open till June 14.

Department of Higher Education (DHE), which conducts centralised online counselling for admission in conventional courses offered by government and private colleges – had opened registration window late this year. As per schedule, the registration for first round of UG counselling would be held from May 30 to June 9 and PG counselling from June 1 to 14.


The admission list of first round of UG courses would be declared on June 15 whereas the list for the PG courses would be out by June 20. “After the admission list is out, the students would be given five days to submit fee for confirmation of their admissions,” Chaturvedi.

Four rounds of counselling

As per the DHE schedule, the admission process would be held in four rounds. First three rounds would be of online counselling and the last round would be college level counselling. The second round of registration for UG courses would be held from June 23 to 27 and third round from July 8 to 15. The final and fourth round, which is college level counselling round, would be held from July 28 to 30.
