The Love Island villa was shaken to its core on Friday night when Kendall Rae-Knight was the first hopeful to be evicted.
Speaking to the MailOnline following her dismissal from the villa, when she was the only girl not to be selected to be in a couple, she revealed that there were no ill-feelings between her and new girl Rosie - who had nabbed her beau Adam.
While she is clearly over her union with Adam, the shoe shop manager admitted she would date unlucky in love Doctor Alex, who has thus far been brutally rebuffed from many of the ladies in the villa - much to his chagrin.
Kendall struggled in the villa after she was initially paired with Niall but when hunky latecomer Adam had the choice of the ladies to take away, he opted for Kendall.
As he attempted to get closer to the stunner, she confessed her insecurities were driving a wedge between the two while he insisted she overthinks too much.
On being out of the villa first, she said: 'I am a little bit gutted to be out, obviously no one wants to be the first one out. I wouldn’t change anything, I’m proud of all the decisions I made and I don’t regret anything.'
Discussing her recoupling with Adam, she said: 'I don’t look back with regret, I didn’t pick Adam, he picked me, so I had no control over that. Obviously it wasn’t the best situation for Niall, but we still got on as friends.'
While many could not decide who she found more attractive, she said: 'I really did get on with Niall as a friend, but maybe I didn’t have the instant attraction that I had with Adam. I know Niall is a lovely person.'
Fans were left heartbroken when they saw the struggles Alex went through at the hands of the dismissive girls - yet she insists she would love to go on a date with him.
She said: 'Alex is the mostly lovely person ever, he gives the most amazing advice and is really lovely to everyone. I hope someone gets put in there for Alex. I think nowadays girls like a bad boy and Alex is an absolute angel...
'I don’t think he should change anything, he’s perfect the way he is, he just needs to meet the right girl. Yes, I would be up for going on a date with Alex. He’s a very interesting person when you sit down and speak to him. He’s very genuine.'
After Rosie's shock entrance into the villa, Adam's interest in her was a point of contention - yet she insists there are no hard feelings.
She said: 'I kind of expected a re-coupling and I knew he was into Rosie. I wanted to take it a little bit slower and he was fully ready to go ahead and obviously Rosie was, so I do accept that, and I do think they’ll be really good together.'
When asked if she thought Adam was genuine, she said: 'I thought he was genuine from the start and handled it really well with the boys.
'He didn’t come in thinking he was better than everyone else, he was a real gentleman like that. I think he was in a better place than I was.'
Many fans asked if Kendall was over her fiance, who dumped her last year, due to her sensitive disposition, yet she insisted she was ready.
She said: 'Yeah, I was definitely ready. I did Love Island for myself, I wasn’t doing it to get back at him or anything like that. We had a lovely relationship.
'I was ready to move on, I just didn’t realise how hard I would find it and how tricky it would be compared to everyone else. I found myself getting quite emotional, whereas back home I probably wouldn’t...
'I didn't tell him I was going in. I only told my mum and my sister. I do think he would be shocked, he probably wouldn’t think that’s something I would do.
'We had a house together, so we still have to carry on things for that. We might text to say we’ve got a letter or something, but that’s as far as it goes.'
When asked why she was so emotional, Kendall said: 'I’m not used to dating. I’d been with him for five years and since then, dated one person.'
While there were claims the Islanders were no longer allowed to smoke in sight of the camera, she admitted she kept her alcohol intake to a minimum: 'We’re not allowed a lot of alcohol. I only had one glass of wine every night. I know my limits, so I had one rose.'
As a manager of her local shoe shop, fans were curious to see if she would seek fame or return to work, as she said: 'I’m not sure. I said before I went in the villa that if I was out within a few days and they wanted me back I would.
'I never went in there for a change of career, I went in there to find love. I’d be happy if I went back in a couple of weeks. I was happy with my life beforehand, so it wouldn’t bother me.'
When asked if she was seeking fame, she said: 'I didn’t go on Love Island as a reality show, but I went on there to try and find love. I’m not too interested. I just wanted to move on, but found it harder than I thought I would.'
After widespread discussions that Danny Dyer's daughter Dani would repeatedly refer to herself as a celebrity's child - yet Kendall confessed she had hardly brought up her lineage at all.
She said: 'I think Dani and Jack will have a good chance of winning. They seem to really connect. She had a little bit of a blip, but when you see how they are with each other it’s clear to see how they feel.'
