The Raj Nivas has made elaborate arrangements in connection with the 69th birthday celebrations of Lt. Governor Kiran Bedi on Saturday.
The Raj Nivas will be open to the public between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. for the benefit of those who wish to greet the Lt. Governor.
A press note said the Lt. Governor has reserved the day for interacting with parent-teachers’ association and farmers with regard to upbringing of boys and saving water in the forenoon session.
Ms. Bedi will launch the “CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) to USR (University Social Responsibility)” initiative at Pondicherry University as conceptualised in the recently concluded Governors' conference.
