Akron drops 3-2 decision | Indians minors roundup

• Clippers: Triple-A Columbus’ home game with Buffalo on June 9 was rained out. It will be made up as part of a doubleheader on June 10.

• RubberDucks: Double-A Akron lost, 3-2, at Portland. Sam Haggerty had a sacrifice fly RBI and Joe Sever drove in a run with a single for the RubberDucks. Relief pitcher Jake Paulson (3-2, 2.60 ERA) took the loss.

• Hillcats: Advanced-A Lychnchburg beat visiting Potomac, 5-3, in the first game of a doubleheader. Dillon Persinger homered for the Hillcats. Starting pitcher Zach Plesac (4-2, 4.41) got the win. The second game was canceled because of rain.

• Captains: Single-A Lake County lost to host Great Lakes, 4-1. Tyler Friis had an RBI single for the Captains. Captains starting pitcher Zack Draper (0-1, 2.45) took the loss. He pitched five innings, give up three runs on six hits.
