BHOPAL : The district Congress president of Shahdol Subash Gupta has tendered his resignation following the annoyance of the local Congressmen on Saturday. He was amongst the few district president appointed in May last by Kamal Nath, after assuming the office of state Congress president, though Gupta was expelled from the party for six years. AICC conducted an enquiry into the matter after receiving a complaint from the local Congressmen- finally Gupta resigned on Saturday.Media in-charge Manak Agarwal informed that Gupta has resigned in favour of Nath. He wanted to serve the party and to remain the worker of the party.
