The son of legendary Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar, Arjun, has been picked for the national under-19 team.

The 18-year-old allrounder was picked in the squad that will play two four-day matches in July.

Sachin Tendulkar described the selection of his son as an “important milestone” for Arjun.

“Anjali and I will always support Arjun in his choice and pray for his success,” he said.

In an interview with BBC, Arjun Tendulkar said his dream was to play for India.
