Edgewater police are looking for a man who robbed a Wells Fargo bank Friday afternoon and sped away in a black Pontiac.
Sometime around 3:15 p.m., the suspect entered the bank at 1813 S. Ridgewood Ave. and showed a note to a bank teller demanding money, according to police. The note also stated he had a weapon, but police did not indicate he brandished any kind of weapon.
The suspect grabbed the money and fled the premises in a black sedan resembling a Pontiac G6, police said.
Detectives said they do not know the identity of the suspect.
