NAGPUR:
Dilip Ingle, in his 50s, was found murdered at his hutment in
Rambagh locality on Friday with serious injuries on his head. His elder son Rahul, a criminal, too had been murdered in 2012.
Police said Dilip' s murder came to fore after his younger brother had come to take him along to Belona in the rural district in connection with selling a piece of their land. Seeing Dilip's body with an injury on head, his brother raised an alarm and also alerted the police control room. The victim, who earned livelihood as labourer, was addicted.
Police said Dilip's younger son, 23-year-old Pawan, is one of the prime suspects in the murder. Pawan and his mother had shifted elsewhere few years ago as there was a dispute within the family over Dilip's alcoholism.
Dilip's younger son was spotted by some of the neighbours walking away with his face covered with a handkerchief. A team of Imambada police station and also crime branch are now trying to trace Pawan out.
Dilip's body was shifted to mortuary of Government Medical College and Hospital for post- mortem. An offence of murder was registered by Imambada police station.
