Yogi issues directives to ensure benefits reaches to beneficiaries

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued directives to the officers to implement government scheme in letter and in spirit to ensure that benefits should reach the beneficiaries. He even said special camps should be held in villages to ensure benefits of government schemes should targeted audience.

He was speaking in Gram Chaupal organized in Mainpuri where he had an interaction with villagers and enquired whether they are getting benefits of government schemes. The meeting was held in Lullupur village under Gram Swaraj Abhiyan.

“The Uttar Pradesh Government is implementing the schemes of Union Government with tenacity. The schemes like Pradhan Mantri Ujjawala Yojana, Pradhan mantra Krishi Sichai Yojana, National Urban Mission, Saubhagya scheme and Deen dayal Gram jyoti  Yojana are meant for the welfare of the poor and dalit section of the society. The UP government wants that benefits of these schemes should reach people directly,” he said while addressing some of the beneficiaries of this scheme.

When villagers complained that they were deprived of this benefit despite belonging to the marginalized section of the society, Chief Minister asked the officers to hold special camp within a week and enroll those who have been left out.

 “The Government is working on the principle of sabka saath, sabka vikas and it implementing the policies without any bias. In the previous regime government benefits were meant for people of particular district and particular caste. But this government is working for the welfare of all sections of the society,” CM said.

CM said that all the 75 districts are getting electricity without any bias as per roster. Under the Swachch Bharat Mission, UP will be declared ODF by October 2. Villagers are being given Rs 12,000 for construction of toilet, he said. 

When he was informed that many cases of cancer were reported rom this Lullupur village CM asked the Chief Medical officer to send a special team of doctors to examine these patients. “The CMO should ensure treatment of these patients free of cost,” he said.
