PMK founder S. Ramadoss on Thursday demanded that the State government resign, claiming that there was evidence to prove that the government and the police connived together to fire at the anti-Sterlite protesters in Thoothukudi last month.
Thirteen persons were killed when the police opened fire after violence broke out during the agitation.
“In every angle, those at the helm of the State government are responsible. There is no use of the Commission of Inquiry that has been set up,” said Mr. Ramadoss in a statement.
