Stitch Fix Inc. had its best trading day on Friday since the company went public, closing up 26% to $24.87 during the regular session after posting strong first-quarter earnings after the bell Thursday. Stitch Fix shares were up a fraction during the after hours session. The company beat top- and bottom-line expectations Thursday, logging net income of $9.5 million on sales of $316.7 million, well above analyst expectations, according to FactSet. The company also announced a line of kids apparel. Stitch Fix stock has gained 67% since its November IPO, as the benchmark S&P 500 index rose 7.4%.
