The Communist Party of India (Marxist) and the Communist Party of India (CPI) on Thursday staged a protest near the Assembly seeking immediate arrest of main culprits in the ATM fraud case.
The Left parties have condemned the inaction of the police in arresting main culprits Chandruji, Sathya and Sai Saravanan. The parties said all three were connected to political parties.

The cadre took out a march from Mission Street to the Assembly Complex. The police arrested them near Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Cathedral.
State secretary of CPI(M) R. Rajangam, State secretary of CPI Salim, former Minister R. Viswanathan, V. Perumal (CPI-M), T. Murugan (CPI-M) and Nara Kalainathan (CPI) participated in the protest.
