A motorcyclist who hit a deer was unconscious and airlifted to a Grand Rapids hospital after crashing in Montcalm County early Friday morning, state police said.
He was on Masters Road south of Deaner Road, west of Lakeview, when the accident happened just after 6 a.m., state police from the Lakeview Post said in a press release.
“The motorcycle impacted a deer in the northbound lane, causing the motorcycle to crash and the driver to be ejected off the motorcycle,” police said.
The drive, who remains in critical condition, was not wearing a helmet.
