The body of a man was found inside the servant quarters of the Rashtrapati Bhavan, police said today.
The deceased was a Class IV employee and worked at the President's Secretariat. He was unwell for some time.
Police added that on Thursday, it was observed that a foul smell was emanating from the servant quarters. Following this, the neighbours alerted the police. When the cops reached the spot, it was found that the room was locked form inside.
The body was later sent for autopsy.
Police have ruled out any possibility of a foul play.
They suspect that the body was lying there for two-three days and the deceased's family was out of town.
