A 62-year-old Clinton man was killed late Thursday in an All-Terrain Vehicle crash on Hookstown Grade Road.

 

INDEPENDENCE TWP. – A 62-year-old Findlay Township man was killed late Thursday when his all-terrain vehicle crashed on Hookstown Grade Road in Independence Township, police said.

According to a state police report, the crash happened at about 10:40 p.m. near a residential driveway in the 100 block Hookstown Grade Road.

Police said the driver was headed south when he swerved to the left and struck a utility pole. He was thrown from the ATV, police said.

Officials did not release the name of the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

In addition to state police, the Independence Township Fire Department, Medic Rescue and the Beaver County coroner’s office responded to the crash.
