All donations towards the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and the National Defence Fund(NDF) are notified for 100% deduction from taxable income under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act,1961

Senior BJP leader LK Advani has described former president Pranab Mukherjee's visit to the RSS headquarters and his illuminating exposition of the noble idea and ideals of Indian nationalism as a significant event in country's contemporary history.

Mr Advani lauded Mr Mukherjee, who has had decades of association with the Congress, for accepting the invitation of the RSS and its chief Mohan Bhagwat for inviting him.

He said there are significant concord and resonance in the views expressed by both of them.

The BJP veteran said he believed that Mr Mukherjee and Mr Bhagwat have truly set a praiseworthy example of dialogue transcending ideological affiliations and differences.

He added that they highlighted the essential unity of India, which accepts and respects all diversities, including the pluralism of faiths.
