Thunderstorm accompanied with gusty winds very likely to occur at isolated places in all the districts of coastal AP and Rayalaseema on Friday.
Strong surface winds from south-westerly direction, with speed reaching 45 to 50 km/hr are likely along and off coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 24 hours, commencing from 6 p.m. on Thursday. The Cyclone Warning Centre (CWC) has advised fishermen to be cautious while venturing into the sea.
The South West monsoon has been active over coastal Andhra Pradesh and normal over Rayalaseema, according to the IMD.
Heavy rainfall occurred at isolated places in the districts of Krishna, Guntur and Vizianagaram of coastal Andhra Pradesh. Rain occurred at many places over coastal AP and at isolated places over Rayalaseema.
