‘TRS taking credit for works taken up with Central funds’

BJP State president Dr. K. Laxman has alleged that the State government has been using central funds for several of its programmes but not giving due acknowledgement.

At dalit wada

Along with party leaders, Mr. Laxman participated in Palle Nidra programme and slept at a dalit wada in Dhanasiri village on Wednesday night. Later he has participated in party programmes at Satvar, Gangawar, Kalbemal and Kuppanagar. He also hoisted party flags in these villages.

“Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has been claiming that there has been no power cut in the State. But there was no power the entire night in Dahansiri village, where I had slept last night. The government had claimed that all tanks were cleaned under Mission Kakatiya but the reality is something different,” he said, adding that many of the promises like three acres land for dalits and double bed-room houses for eligible by the ruling party had not been fulfilled.

The BJP president said that they were taking up awareness programme about the unfulfilled promises by the TRS and the schemes introduced by the Union Government.
