Now to a scandal rocking one of the NBA's top teams, the president of the Philadelphia 76ers resigning after an investigation concluded his wife was behind several Twitter accounts bashing the team and then revealing private information. ABC's Eva pilgrim has the latest. Reporter: Sixers president Bryan Colangelo resigning after team investigators say they found several Twitter burner accounts used anonymously criticizing the team were not run by trolls on the internet, but by Colangelo's own wife. Investigators say Colangelo's wife admitted to operating four accounts used to defend her husband and take digs at players on his team taking aim at the team's biggest superstar, Joel Embiid. I would love to knock some sense into his head right now. He's playing like a toddler having tantrums. While there is no evidence that Colangelo operated or knew about the accounts they say they believe he provided his wife with private information she made public including details of trade discussions and even medical reports. It's not the first time burner accounts have gotten in the way of the game. Thanks to everybody for watching and we'll see you down the road. Reporter: Last year Roger Goodell's wife admitted to operating a bogus account she used solely to defend her husband from tweets saying it was a really silly thing to do and done out of frustration and love. Now, Colangelo maintains he had no knowledge of the accounts telling ABC news I vigorously dispute the allegation that my conduct was in any way reckless but not letting his wife off the hook saying it was a seriously misguided effort to publicly defend and support me and while I recognize how inappropriate these actions were, she acted independently and without my consent or knowledge, Michael. All right, Eva, things you do for love.
