Krishna district Collector B. Lakshmikantham has stated that the draft notification for allotment of commercial and residential plots for the farmers who parted with their lands for expansion of Gannavaram airport has been issued.
The Collector on Thursday said that 950 farmers gave 837.69 acres of land in Allapuram, Buddhavaram, Ajjampudi, Chinautupalli, and Kesarapalli villages. The government would allot land to them in Amaravati capital area. For an acre of land, the government would give 1,000 square yards of residential plot and 450 sq.yards of commercial plot. The plots would be allotted to them by drawing a lottery. The plan was kept for perusal at the Gannavaram tahsildar office, he said.
The farmers can submit their objections within 30 days of issuance of the notification. For further details, the farmers can visit www.krishna.nic.in or APCRDA website.
