Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan is leading an Indian parliamentary delegation to Belarus, Latvia and Finland from June 10-18, an official statement said on Friday. The delegation left for Belarus on Friday.
During the visit, the delegation will meet President Alexander Lukashenko; Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly, Vladimir Andreichenko; and Chairman of the Council of the National Assembly of Belarus, Mikhail Myasnikovich.
The delegation to Latvia (June 14-16) and Finland (June 17-18) will comprise Ramsinh Pataliyabhai Rathwa, N.K. Premachandran, A.T. (Nana) Patil, Kamla Devi Patle, A. Navaneethakrishnan and K.C. Ramamurthy besides the Lok Sabha Secretary General.
During the visit to Latvia, the delegation will meet President Raimonds Vejonis; Prime Minister Maris Kucinskis; Speaker of the Saeima Inara Murniece; and Minister of Foreign Affairs Edgars Rinkevies.
In Finland, the delegation will meet Speaker of the Finnish Parliament Paula Risikko.
