Target Corp. said Thursday that it is expanding its Shipt same-day delivery service and Drive Up online order pickup service across the Midwest and Southeast. Chicago will be the first city to have all four delivery and pickup options, which also includes Target Restock, which delivers essentials like laundry detergent and baby food the next day, and from-store delivery. By the end of June, Target will offer Shipt in 135 markets; Drive Up is now available in more than 600 stores in 20 states; Target Restock was expanded nationwide in May; and from-store delivery is available in 60 stores across five metro markets. Target shares are up 21.5% for the year to date while the S&P 500 index is up 3.7% for the period.
