From now on until 17th June, Windows restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel Macao and the esteemed French jeweler, Isabelle Langlois jointly present the exclusive Isabelle Langlois Afternoon Tea.
A tasteful discovery journey
To pay homage to designer Isabelle Langlois’s renowned heritage, the talented Executive Sous Chef Benjamin Whatt crafted an artistic array of decadent savory and sweet delicacies, including BLT Sandwich with Bacon, Lobster and Truffle, Banana Coconut Eclair, Pistachio Opera and more. Among which the highlights of all are the Yellow Wine Macaron and Chocolate Ganache Cookie.
Chef Benjamin wants to pay tribute to the origin of the Langlois’ family, while honoring Isabelle’s presences in Paris and her Macaron collection. As a result, he chooses yellow wine as the macaron ingredient. Yellow wine, known as Vin Jaune in french, is a type of wine originated from eastern France, Jura region, where Isabelle’s family began their gemology heritage since the 18th century. On the other hand, the macaron was the creation of the Parisian confectioners dated back in the 17th century. Hence, the innovative combination is both perfectly meaningful and palate-pleasing.
In addition, the Chocolate Ganache Cookie is inspired by Isabelle Langlois’signature collection, the Emotion. The Emotion collection encapsulates the beauty and elegance of a flower bouquet, transforming them into precious jewelry creations with eternal beauty. Colourful gemstones and diamonds are meticulously arranged in a dazzling manner to resemble the wonderful beauty of nature.
