Samantha Bee is again apologizing for calling Ivanka Trump a "feckless c--t." During last week's Full Frontal, the comedian criticized the Trump administration's policies which have separated undocumented families and lost track of 1,500 children. At the end of the bit, she demanded that Ivanka "do something about your dad's immigration practices, you feckless c--t," and that didn't go over so well.

Despite apologizing to Ivanka on Twitter, Donald Trump called for her to be fired and several advertisers, including State Farm, pulled their ads from her show. TBS will now closely moniter her segments to prevent another debacle.

At the top of Wednesday's show, Bee again addressed the controversy and issued another apology for her use of the vulgar term.

"You know, a lot of people were offended and angry that I used an epithet to describe the president's daughter last week. It is a word I have used on the show many times trying to reclaim it. This time I used it as an insult. I crossed the line. I regret it and I do apologize for that," she said. "The problem is that many women have been called that at the worst time in their lives. A lot of them don't want that word reclaimed. They want it gone. I don't want to inflict more pain on them. I want this show to be challenging and I want it to be honest but I never intended it to hurt anyone. Except Ted Cruz."

Bee went on to address the men who were offended by her use of the word, noting that she didn't care about their opinion. Instead, she expressed regret that her controversial segment distracted from the story that she actually wanted to bring to light -- the immigrant children who were separated from their families while in custody of ICE authorities.

"I hate that I did something to contribute to the nightmare of 24-hour news cycles that we're all white-knuckling through. I should have known that a potty-mouthed insult would be inherently more interesting to them than juvenile immigration policy. I would do anything to help those kids. I hate that this distracted from them and so to them, I am also sorry," she added.

Bee closed out her apology by again expressing regret for her use of the word and calling out those only concerned with civility. "I am really sorry that I said that word, but you know what? Civility is just nice words. Maybe we should all worry a little bit more about the niceness of our actions," the comedian said.

Mic drop.
