Rajinikanth fans across the country queued outside the theatres in large numbers as early as 4 am to catch the first show of Superstar-starrer 'Kaala'.

Kaala starring Superstar Rajinikanth has been produced by his son-in-law Dhanush and directed by Pa. Ranjith. This is their second collaboration after the blockbuster hit Kabali in 2016 and Rajinikanth's first release post the announcement of his political entry.

Here are some of the Twitter reactions of the audience who caught an early morning show of 'Kaala'.

Rajinikanth-starrer 'Kaala' live streamed on Facebook

Earlier in the day, 'Kaala' hit a minor hurdle following a few scenes were leaked online. During the movie's preview show in Singapore, one of the viewers had live streamed the film from his Facebook account. Following which the viewer was arrested and the Facebook live stream was brought down.

Leading producer Dhananjayan took to Twitter to register his anguish. His tweet reads,"Shocking act of piracy. Disgusting."

Tamil film producer council president Vishal quickly responded to Dhananjayan tweet, revealing the details and action taken regarding the incident.

He said, "On the job @Dhananjayang sir. He has been arrested.  Took it from Cathay Singapore."

'Kaala' to see full-fledged release in Karnataka on Friday

Despite opposition from pro-Kannada outfits, Rajinikanth’s Tamil film ‘Kaala’ will see a full-fledged release on Friday in Karnataka in about 250 theatres across the state, including multiplexes. All the theatres will be provided security by the police to prevent pro-Kannada organisations from creating any ruckus.

Uncertainty persisted over the film’s initially scheduled release on Thursday though there are plans to release the much-amticipated movie in about 100 theatres. But providing the list of theatres to the police for security and signing agreements with theatre owners about the release will take time, which is why the film’s booking has not yet appeared on the BookMyShow app.
