BHUBANESWAR: At least six trains will remain cancelled and three others short-terminated on June 10 due to safety related modernisation work and construction of Limited Height Sub-ways (LHSs) between Cuttack and Kendrapara Road Stations.

The trains which will be cancelled include Cuttack-Bhadrak-Cuttack Passenger, Kendujhargarh-Bhubaneswar-Kendujhargarh Passenger and Cuttack-Paradeep-Cuttack Passenger. It has also been decided to divert some of the Mail and Express Trains via Bhubaneswar-Barang-Naraj-Radhakishorepur-Kapilas Road without touching Cuttack Station.

East Coast Railway has provided stoppage for the trains at Kapilas Road Station during the period. The passengers to entrain or detrain at Cuttack station will be provided with bus services by Railways between Cuttack station and Kapilas Road station from both the directions.

Train operation resumed

Railways have decided to resume operation of two more pairs of trains that were cancelled/partially cancelled due to washing out of railway bridge between Theruvali and Singapur Road stations in Rayagada-Titlagarh railway section last year.

Sambalpur-Rayagada-Sambalpur Express now running upto Muniguda station will resume its service up to Rayagada while Visakhapatnam-Durg-Visakhapatnam Passenger now running thrice a week will resume its daily service from Thursday.

However, cancellation of Rourkela-Koraput-Rourkela Express, Durg-Jagadalpur-Durg Express via Titlagarh and Rayagada and Sambalpur-Koraput-Sambalpur Passenger has been extended upto June 30.
