A 28-year-old labourer died after he fell along with an elevator in Rohini’s Bawana on Wednesday afternoon, the police said. They have registered a case and started investigations.
The police said the deceased, Amreek, belonged to Uttar Pradesh.
He was working at a plastic factory, where the incident happened.
Other workers present at the spot told the police that Amreek was loading some material onto the lift and standing on the side but as the cable collapsed, he fell along with the lift and died. The police and Fire Department were informed after which fire officials pulled out his body and rushed him to a nearby hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
