Ibandel Isabel hit a solo home run for Daytona but the host Tortugas lost 6-2 to the Clearwater Threshers on Wednesday.
Brantley Bell had the other RBI for Daytona.
Tony Santillan (4-4) gave up four runs on six hits in 5.2 innings in the loss.
Off the field, infielder Alfredo Rodriguez was transferred from Pensacola to Daytona in exchange for outfielder Narciso Crook. Pitcher Ryan Olson was placed on the seven-day disabled list (back) and pitcher Juan Martinez was transferred from Pensacola to Daytona.
