Global DMC Partners’ first European Connection Conference will take place from August 16-19, 2018

Published on : Thursday, June 7, 2018

The global meeting professionals and DMC industry leaders from around the world will gather in Warsaw to learn about key industry trends, discuss the current global outlook and regulations, such as the Global Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and share best practices among the group.

The event will feature a general session about global trends and meeting industry disruptors, an interactive panel with round-table discussions on attendee and data protection, industry-specific meeting planner breakout sessions, and one-on-one appointments to connect meeting planners with DMCs and sponsors of their choosing.

President of Global DMC Partners, Catherine Chaulet said that according to post-event evaluations, our breakout sessions have received the highest ratings out of all the education opportunities at the Connection. The planners attendees have told us that no other event has given them the opportunity to connect on a deeper level with other meeting planners that are dealing with similar challenges, circumstances, or regulations. This is what makes the Connection so unique and appealing to meeting planners.

Global DMC Partners’ Polish DMC Partner, SELECT POLAND, will organize and operate city tours and exclusive afternoon activities to give Connection 2018 attendees an opportunity to experience what Warsaw can offer for groups. SELECT POLAND will also host an optional post-event extension to Krakow for those who are interested in learning more about the second largest city in Poland.
