Box Office projections have the Incredibles 2 at an incredibly high reception, with advance ticket sales showing record numbers.
Incredibles 2 is already outpacing the pre-sales of Finding Dory (2016), the last Pixar film to hit cinemas.
Compared to superhero films, Incredibles 2 is punching with the best of them, outselling DC’s Wonder Woman and Suicide Squad, as well as Marvel/Sony’s Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Early predictions have Incredibles 2 grossing $140 million domestically (US and Canada).

The latest Pixar instalment follows the Parr family as they struggle to deal with the various incredible superpowers each of them hold, while still keeping the family ‘normal’.
Directed by Brad Bird, Incredibles 2 sees family tension mixed up with the ability to travel at sonic speeds, super strength and a demonic, laser shooting baby called Jack-Jack.
The IMDB synopsis said: “Bob Parr (Mr. Incredible) is left to care for Jack-Jack while Helen (Elastigirl) is out saving the world.”
