Congress wins Thiksay constituency by elections in Ladakh |
The by elections in Thiksay constituency of Ladakh Automous Hill Development Council, Leh has been won by Congress candidate Tundup Gyatso. He defeated his nearest rival BJP candidate Stanzin Chosphel by a margin of 109 votes.
The by poll was held on Monday. It was necessitated due to death of former Chief Executive Councilor of Ladakh Automous Hill Development Council, Leh Dr Sonam Dawa Lonpo.
