In Bihar, 47% of pupils flunk XII boards

PATNA: The Bihar Board Class XII results were declared on Wednesday, with 52.95% students passing their exams. Though the pass percentage improved considerably, up by 17% in comparison to 2017, at least 5.5 lakh candidates of 11.92 lakh, flunked the exams.

Though the pass percentage for the exams conducted by Bihar board increased this year, only 6.31 lakh candidates cleared their exams. The pass percentage for boys was considerably higher, but toppers from the three streams were girls.


NEET topper comes first in science stream: NEET 2018 topper Kalpana Kumari, who scored 99.99 percentile on the entrance test , placed first in the science stream. She scored 434 out of 500.
