The Tale review: horrifyingly topical MeToo memoir with none of the neatness of a hashtag

Some films are so big that a cinema is the only way to make sense of them. But others have a built-in immensity that can make a television screen fill your entire field of vision. So it is with Jennifer Fox’s The Tale, which arrives on the Sky-owned streaming service NowTV this week after premiering at the Sundance Film Festival in January: even viewed from the sofa, it makes an IMAX-sized impact.
