Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and National Defence Fund(NDF)

All donations towards the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and the National Defence Fund(NDF) are notified for 100% deduction from taxable income under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act,1961

Economic Affairs Secretary Subhash Chandra Garg has welcomed monetary policy statement of RBI. In a tweet, Mr Garg said, the statement reflects quite balanced assessment of growth, inflation and external situation and expectations.

He said, the rate hike is understandable considering existing interest differentials and oil price movement. Mr Garg expressed hope that this will help in removing uncertainties and steadying markets.
