Salah agent denies Barca rumours

According to a report in Spanish newspaper AS Mohamed Salah’s representatives have offered the Liverpool and Egypt star to Barcelona.

Salah is seen as a possible alternative if Barca fail to sign Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid. AS claim that Salah’s representatives and the Catalan giants are “ready to open negotiations” and meetings have taken place between the two parties.

However, the Salah-to-Barcelona rumour is news to the forward’s agent, Ramy Abbas Issa. Responding to the claims, Issa tweeted: “This never happened. @English_AS you need better sources.”

The Daily Express, quoting Spanish news outlet Don Balon, adds that Salah could move to the Camp Nou in a “stunning swap deal involving Ousmane Dembele”. Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is reportedly a fan of the French international.
