BENGALURU: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials caught the deputy manager of District Milk Producers Union red-handed while he was allegedly receiving bribe of Rs 3,000 from a milk producer in Tumakuru on Wednesday.
The accused is Y L Nagaraju. According to the statement issued by the ACB, Nagaraju had already obtained D10,000 bribe from the complainant for sanction of cattle insurance claim of Rs 50,000 against the death of a cow. He was demanding for D3,000 more. A trap was subsequently laid.
