Nagpur: A 14-year-old girl and her younger sister were allegedly molested by their father while they were alone at their residence on May 17. The 40-year-old accused has been arrested following a complaint from the survivors.
The Std X student, lives with her parents, three sisters and a brother. On the day of the incident, when the survivor’s mother had gone out, the accused molested her and her younger sister. The accused also threatened them of dire consequences if they tell anybody about the incident.
The freighted survivor and her 12-year-old sister shared their ordeal with a neighbouring aunty, who narrated the incident to their mother. Thereafter, the women took the accused to Pachpaoli police station and registered a case of molestation against him.
Cops said the accused used to molest the minors several times but they did not share it with anyone as he used to threaten them.
A case of molestation under sections of IPC and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act has been registered against the accused.
