Liverpool transfer news: French journalist delivers major Nabil Fekir update
LIVERPOOL transfer target Nabil Fekir is convinced he’s joining the Reds this summer, French journalist Nabil Djellit claims.
The Lyon ace has been tipped to head to Anfield this summer, with Jurgen Klopp keen to splash the cash.
Liverpool have already landed Monaco midfielder Fabinho, with the Brazil international joining RB Leipzig’s Naby Keita at Anfield.
And French journalist Djellit claims Fekir’s head is already at Liverpool, claiming the midfielder is intent on joining the Reds.
“The echoes that I have heard is that he already sees himself in England, in Liverpool,” Djellit said.
“The examples of players held by force are numerous: Mahrez, Seri, Fabinho, and it always ends badly.

“It is a boy who in his mind, has already planned on a departure to Liverpool.
“To preserve it would be totally counterproductive for the leaders of Olympique Lyonnais.”
Fekir has been vocal about his future in recent weeks, with the France international revealing he’ll make a decision after the World Cup.
"If Fabinho will be my future team-mate? I will discuss about my future after the World Cup, not before," he said.
"If I will sign somewhere before the World Cup? Honestly, I don't know."

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas echoed Fekir’s comments, adding the playmaker has a future at the club.
"There is no information contrary to what I mentioned in the last match. Nabil Fekir has a past at Olympique Lyonnais. He has a future," Aulas said.
"We always try to go in the direction of the players. We will listen carefully. It is a great pride for us to have a pure talent of selection training.
"We will probably know more after the World Cup. But for the moment, he is from Lyon and we are very proud of him.
"I do not have an appointment with the leaders of Liverpool. There is no urgency at all. We are perfectly serene. If Nabil wants to play the Champions League in Groupama Stadium next year, we will be delighted."
