Afghan security forces foil 12 Taliban Attacks

The Afghan security forces on Wednesday foiled 12 attacks in five districts of province on Wednesday, Farid purported on Thursday.

According to Afghan's TOLO News, said that the security forces thwarted the attacks carried out by the in districts Qarabagh, Gelan, Khawja Omari, Andar and Muqor.

Nineteen militants were killed and six others were wounded in clashes with the security forces.

Furthermore, one was killed and two others were wounded, the report said.

The Taliban has not commented on the report so far.

The Taliban fighters have ratcheted up attacks across the war-torn country against Afghan security forces and government officials ever since they announced their offensive in April.
