This Morning: Phillip Schofield SHUT DOWN by Lord Alan Sugar over secret reveal

THIS MORNING saw the arrival of Lord Alan Sugar ahead of the launch of his new apprentice’s new sweet business - but he wasn’t excited about the prospect of the interview.

The Apprentice boss sat down with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on today’s This Morning.

Appearing to promote his newest business colleague Sarah Lynn’s business launch, Lord Sugar discussed the last series of The Apprentice.

He spoke about the shocking final episode of last season, which saw him investing in both Sarah and James White.

He admitted that the BBC were surprised by the choice, and he didn’t think they were happy about it.

However he was pleased with the final result, and his two new business partners.

Sitting through the interview with his arms crossed, Lord Sugar reluctantly answered each of Phillip’s questions.

Moving through the interview, Phillip decided to talk about the upcoming season.

He said: “We know you’ve been filming the next season, we saw you filming outside.”

But Lord Sugar wasn’t too pleased about the reveal as he started tutting over Phil’s question.

He began: “Now, you people in TV should know you should not spoil it.”

But he did admit: “Yes, we’re working on a new series.”

Lord Sugar also went on to say: “As is tradition, it will probably be put out in the autumn.”

He also answered a question about his infamous yacht, which Phillip explained was recently seen in the papers, and is rumoured to be on sale for £13 million.

But Lord Sugar slyly replied to Phil: “You shouldn’t believe everything you believe in the newspapers.”

He went on to describe the personalised candy business built by Sarah and his investment.

They pointed out the amount of times the cast of Love Island say the word “like”.

Because of this, they began presenting using “like” excessively.

And fans became enraged by the “annoying” habit.

One wrote: “That is a bit annoying like. @thismorning #ThisMorning.”

Another added: “The word ‘like’ was said 219 times in last nights #LoveIsIand, that’s crazy.”
