A roadside bomb today killed two police personnel and injured another in northwest Pakistan's restive Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province near THE Afghan border, police said.
The incident occurred in a remote area of Maidan District in the province.
A police van was targeted in the blast killing a Station House Officer and a constable on the spot, the police said, adding that another constable who sustained injuries has been shifted to a nearby hospital.
Security personnel rushed to the site and cordoned off the area.
However, there was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
