Rajkot: Dr Jayesh Modhwadia, a cousin of Congress leader Arjun Modhwadia, received a threat from his neighbour to vacate his house in Rajkot on Thursday.
According to the complainant, Modhwadia, he received the threat from Mandan Mer, his neighbour in Shivdhara Apartment on Kalawad Road. Mer was arrested late in the evening on Thursday. Modhwadia said that Mer had come to his clinic and threatened to kill him, brandishing a revolver. Police said that Modhwadia wanted to sell his flat for which he had a talk with Mer to get him a good deal. However, the price quoted by Mer was not acceptable to Modhwadia.

“This resulted in a dispute between the duo, following which Mer threatened him and asked him to vacate the flat. We have booked Mer for the crime,” said an official from A-Division police station.
