Who is Bryce Dallas Howard?
It might be obvious to some, but Bryce Dallas Howard is the daughter of Hollywood director and Happy Days lead Ron Howard.
Her mother is the writer Cheryl Howard Crew (née Alley) and Howard was born on March 2, 1981.
She isn't the only Howard progeny, she has two sisters, twins Jocelyn and Paige, and a younger brother named Reed.
Despite the allure of the silver-screen, the Howard parents kept all their children far from the limelight.
Howard's godfather is her dad's Happy Days co-star Henry Winkler.
Bryce Dallas Howard's connections to Hollywood don't stop there.
On an episode of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Howard said she and her siblings were babysat by family friend Tom Cruise on several occasions.

She attended Stagedoor Manor, a performing arts camp in upstate New York, with actress Natalie Portman.
Howard graduated with her BFA in Drama from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, and also attended the Stella Adler Conservatory, The Experimental Wing, and International Theatre Wing in Amsterdam.
From there Howard appeared on stage in New York, and while performing as Rosalind in As You Like It at The Public Theater in 203, Howard caught the eye of director M. Night Shyamalan.
Howard starred in Shyamalan's The Village, garnering acclaim for her work as the chief's blind daughter despite the mixed critical reception of the movie.
She reunited with Shyamalan for The Lady in the Water, and from there headed to bigger titles.
