Prosecute Lankaiah: Players to Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Srikanth said the State government should respond to the issue and take steps to  prosecute Veera Lankaiah.

VIJAYAWADA:  Krishna District Kabaddi Association former secretary Y Srikanth has demanded that the State government initiate action against association state general secretary V Veera Lankaiah on the charges of sexual harassment and corruption. Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Srikanth said the State government should respond to the issue and take steps to prosecute Veera Lankaiah. 

“After the charges of sexual harassment came into light, several parents are apprehensive about sending their girl children to sports. We have faith in Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, that’s why we are not planning any agitation over the issue now,” said Kabaddi players KLV Ramana and P Dhanalakshmi.They claimed that Lankaiah sold about 30 Form-2 certificates for lakhs of rupees and demanded sexual favours from the players who approached for certificate.
