HyreCar ups IPO to 2.1 million shares

Car-sharing rental platform HyreCar Inc. on Thursday filed to increase the size of its initial public offering, to 2.1 million shares from 2 million. It kept its expectation that shares would price between $5 and $6 a piece. The company aims to connect would-be ride-sharing drivers lacking the right type of car to work for companies such as Lyft Inc. and Uber Technologies Inc. with car owners with vehicles they are not using. HyreCar filed its first documents in late May, saying it plans to list on the Nasdaq under the symbol HYRE.
