The Anti-Corruption Bureau on Thursday booked a case against a director and a planning officer of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Urban Development Authority for permitting construction activity on a delineated land parcel.
Acting on a complaint by R. Venkat Ramana and K.S. Vasu, sleuths booked Director of Planning K. Purushotham Reddy and Planning Officer B. Bheem Rao for allegedly recommending technical sanction for construction of a commercial complex in Puppalaguda village in Gandipet.
The anti-corruption bureau sleuths unearthed a G+2 building, a house in Kamareddy, cash amounting to nearly ₹9 lakh, gold and silver ornaments among others.
