2019 Jeep Renegade Shown for the First Time
The 2019 Jeep Renegade has been shown for the first time at the Torino Motor Show in Italy.
While only the European-spec version has been shown thus far, the North American-spec 2019 Renegade is expected to receive the same cosmetic updates. The most prominent change has happened out front, where the tough and tiny crossover has received halo LED headlights and a new version of Jeep’s seven-slot grille. There’s also different side view mirrors with integrated turn signals, new available wheels and redesigned taillights.
Fiat Chrysler says the Euro-spec 2019 Renegade will also receive an updated engine range, but it’s not yet clear what that may entail. In North America, the Renegade is offered with 2.4-liter Tigershark four-cylinder and a 1.4-liter MultiAir turbocharged four-cylinder. The six-speed manual and nine-speed automatic are expected to remain the only available transmission options for 2019 in both Europe and North America.
We’ll have full details on the 2019 Jeep Renegade for North America as soon as they become available.
